New Zealand Aged Residential Care Financial Performance Study – Summary of Findings

To better understand the factors influencing the New Zealand aged residential care sector and financial performance of providers, Ansell Strategic undertook a comprehensive survey on an independent, unfunded basis. The objective of this study was to:

• Gauge the financial performance of aged care providers and implications for sector and economy; and
• Provide a basis for ongoing benchmarking of performance and cost/subsidy indexation into the future.

This report forms an initial summary of the findings from the survey.
